The Weichai WP6 engine, specially developed by the Group for this roller, is precisely matched with the Linde high-pressure hydraulic vibration system (closed-loop, heavy-duty design). This combination delivers fuel efficiency, high performance, and strong excitation force, ensuring smooth operation in demanding conditions with minimal vibration fluctuations and rapid vibration activation. Shantui’s patented vibration roller features a “three-in-one” drum design, improving compaction uniformity and overall compaction efficiency.
Easy Maintenance and Operator Comfort
The spacious, newly designed cab without front A-pillars provides excellent visibility and enhanced operator comfort. The engine and transmission are arranged to allow easy access for maintenance. Filters are centrally positioned, while engine oil and radiator water drain outlets are routed to the exterior, simplifying servicing and reducing maintenance time.
Adaptability to Various Working Conditions
The machine is suitable for compacting base and sub-base layers in major infrastructure projects such as highways, railways, and airports. It can compact various non-cohesive and semi-cohesive materials, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, and rock fill. Optional sheep’s foot (padfoot) segments are available, expanding the machine’s capabilities for clay soils and other specialized working conditions.
